my oscar looks like had a fight with one of his mates, and his upper lip has been bitten of, will he be ok or must i do something extra to treat him?

firstly there are a few things that we need to know in order to properly help with your probelm. to begins with can you post your water parameters for us, ammonia nitrites nitrates and ph. also your tank size and what tankmates you have in there with your oscar.
also a pic would greatly help in suggesting a treatment for your oscar.

im not at home at the moment but the tank mates is tinfoil barbs, silver dollors and (not sure how to spell this one) placotamas.

what sort of damage are we looking at? explain please, large cut/small/bleeding/hole/broken etc?
