when was the last water change? if it was 3 days ago, do, 50% water change to
give assurance of good water condition. then raised to 86deg F, and aerate the
tank properly to augment oxygen dissolve in tank water. it will be cleared in
10 days.

I changed about 20 gallons of my 60 gallon tank with rain water the about 3-5 days ago I constructed a 55 gallon plastic barrel with a top using my gutters to run rain water right into a filtered funnel into my barrel.

I would do as Paul said. Do a water change today, and then raise temp to 86F Make sure you add air as warmer water has less oxygen! In 10 days the ick should be cleared!

You should have enough... If you see signs of distress after raising the temp we can always add more then!

if you are sure that your water is in good condition, you can apply 1 tablespoon /
10 gal of water... but you are not, thus i won't recommend that...

I thought ick dosing was 1 tbl for 5 gallons, or if you have fish like pleco it should be 1 tbls per 10 gallon.

if you haven't already, read the article on this site

I found that understanding the ICK lifecycle was very informative and regardless of your course of treatment, understanding the lifecycle was really useful for winning the battle

you will will over these darn pests!

ive had it twice with my fish, first was from when I first got em, the second from adding new fish and it stressed them. I have always gotten rid of them very quickly with temp and salt method. I have never used meds and wouldnt unless it was that serious. But anyhow, good luck!

Make sure if you use salt, use kosher. I found that its much cheaper than spending money of the API brand and its non iodized and works the same.
