Hi Everyone!

I am new to O's and I'm pretty worried about what he is doing right now. He's just at the bottom of the tank and lying motionless even at his side.

I don't know if this is a normal behavior for him since I just got him yesterday.

Any feedback regarding this is appreciated.

Thanks!

This is normal behaviour for a new introduced oscar, it will take him a few days to get used to his new home, maybe even a week or just over.

Just a couple of questions- how long has the tank been running for and if its a new tank did you cycle it before buying your oscar. How big is the tank?
I can't get no sleep

I'm so relieved to hear that. I was worrying that the fish is sick or something.

I'm currently housing him on a 5g tank, I know that it's extremely small for him but I'm gonna get my 50g tank next week..

Would that harm my fish?

I would upgrade ASAP! And make sure you keep the water in good shape.

But like Del asked, How long has your tank been running?

And How long did you cycle it?
It's NOT smart to piss off the girl with the BAN button!
