Brought a pleco for the new tank. I had him in the new tank for about 2 weeks. This morning I checked my O's out and everthing seams to be fne. Came home after work, checked on them, they are fine. Took a nap for like 2 hours, checked on them, now I see very little Ich spots on the tails. Pleco covered in it. Temp was at 76 so I raised it up and now it's at 82. I added 2 tablespoons of salt maybe a bit less.

Would this be considered a good start in caring of Ich?

yes it is a good start, please bump your temp to 86, and it will take 10 days for it to clear.. SO just keep an eye on it.

hey im almost positive my O has ich and i have 3 SD's if I were to raise the temp to 86 would the SD's be in trouble or what?

If all signs of Ich is gone, I can put the temp back to 78? And if so do just drop the heater down to that temp or slowly drop the temp?
