Today I woke to find one of my O's with white specs on his face and fins. I'v raised my water temp to 87 and hoping it cures it. I'v had nothing but trouble with my tank and these fish if I have one more die i'm giving all my fish to the LPS and I'm giving up and going with a cat gerrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Dude, this is like the 50th post that you have had with problems.....I told you a month ago to read the site and read the forums......there are severall ich forums. You are obviously doing something wrong with your filters or somehow stressing your fish out. I bet you clean your filter under tap water... Do you? Also dont change it every month like the instructions say.

I clean my tank once every 2 weeks only doing a 20 percent water change my water readings are good and I made the mistake of cleaning my filters under tap water one time and that was like 2months ago so now when I clean my filters its in the water that I remove while cleaning my tank and no I'm not changing my filters every month I'v been giving them feeder fish and i think maybe the feeder fish I gave them may of had it

Feeder fish are bad. Mmmkay? They carry diseases and have little nutritional value. Mmmkay? Don't use feeder fish. Mmmkay?

Seriously, it's like feeding your fish BigMacs all the time. Give them something a bit better. Mine (when he gets live fish, which is a rarity) gets guppies and small cheap tetras that hang out in the 10gl for a month before being served as hors d'oeuvres. Never had an ich problem.

Dunno what size tank you've got, but I'm going to assume it's a 55gl or bigger. (I'm also too lazy to go looking it up I might add. lol) I'd start upping your water changes to at least weekly on a regular basis, and maybe every other day until the ich is gone. Is the O the only inhabitant of the tank?

keeping the temp at 80 degF and above will keep the protozoan bacteria dead
i 4 days..... thus, feeding live feeders wouldn't be an issue... however,
bad water condition, poor feeding habits, and stress lower the immune system
of the fish and promote ick.... in your case , you should be treating the tank,
not your fish and colder temp prolong life span of protozoan bacteria.

I do 50% waterchanges on my 180Gl weekly.
20% 2 weekly seems a bit low,imo.
A bit more replenishing would not do any harm.
