i have a jack dimpsy green terror and tiger oscar all in the same tank my tiger which is my favorite because of the playfulness inm him has been sitting at the bottom the last few days taking a closer look at him his eye looks like a pimple ready to pop , i thought maybe one of the others atacked him but i dont see him or the other swim up to the top and attack the food like the tiger use to when i first got him, i no expert on tanks so im open to anything, i have none of the testing equipment so cant do that, and how long should i give them light/dark a day the tank is ina room with no windows so they only get light from me ...how many hours a day should they have light?

the guys are probably gunna want to get some tank test results from ya, but in the top bar there is a tonne of info to read through, id be checking through that while you wait on a response

first of all, welcome on board.

considering that it is an eye concern, a picture can help
us give evaluation. it may be a pop-eye diseases or the nitrogen
pressure effect in your tank. the latter is bit complicated.

a full water test may give us the answer to why your fish got the eye problem and what it is, also as said posting a pic would help. the eye is one of the first areas of a fish to be affected with poor water conditions. but it may not be the water so testing would answer that.
