so about a motnh ago i bought a blueberry oscar(posted in another thread)...i noticed when i first brought it home it had a very small white dot on one of its front flappers...i really couldnt tell what it was so figured id just montior it...didnt seem to get any bigger until this past week and it started to look cottony..so i went to the LFS and bought some API pimafix to treat it...put some in yesterday and noitced when i woke up my oscar had some cottony growth on its face(pictured below) just wanna know if im treating this right...sorry for the pic kinda hard to tell...water parameters are nitrate-20,nitrite-0,ammonia-0,ph-6.2

It is a little difficult to tell from your photo but if it looks like a fungal infection and obviously a fungal remedy should be treated. Obviously you will have to do wait until the treatment is completed and then see if any improvement takes place.

Can't really tell from the pic but from the description probably a fungal infection: I have used API FungusCure and Mardel MarOxy in a hospital tank successfully before.

If you tilt your camera a bit and keep it a bit higher, the flash will not show in the pics.
