Hi i have 5 baby oscars alone in a tank. I noticed lately that they have white spots, and i started medication. 2 Days ago 2 of them is showing signs of entiritis,can i add both meds together?

I do not think you should treat the tank with 2 meds at the same time.
Enteritis? How did you come up with that conclusion?
Here we go with a lot of questions:
Tank size?
What kind of filter do you have and is it cycled?
Can you test for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and pH?
Pristine waterconditions and raising the temp of your tank will usually help against white spot.

like noddy says we need your water parameters and the size of your tank before we can even begin to help you..5 oscars?!?!? you must have a tank between 200-300 gallons then? how about some photos?

My aquarium can hold up to 240gallons but right now its about 3/4 the normal level coz my oscars are only 2 inches with an external Eheim 2250. I dnt have the kit for testing though. However i do have water changes regularly, every 2 days since i notice the white spots.

As for the enteritis, i read that common visible signs are white poo which i saw lately. No eating, very few movements and always lying down with twitching/spasms(shivering like movement, more prominent from the tails)

you need to test your water asap. guess work isn't as good as full fact, and we will only be guessing without a full test.

i hate mixing meds but some are ok depending on what you used and what you are going to use. I personally would hold off until you know whats going on with your water test.

Do you have a temp gauge?? whats the tank temp?
are you treating the new water changes with a water conditioner?
has your tank been cycled?
how long you had the fish?

I would turn the temp up to 28c. stop the constant water change and try to maintain a stable water condition. with a 240g and a few little oscars this should be easy to achieve.(lucky you have a Hugh tank) continue with the white spot treatment if you are certain your fish have white spot. (a pic will confirm this)it could be the white spot treatment that you used that has stopped your fish eating. also most internal parasite treatments CAN'T be used with W/S treatment

3 of my oscars shown signs of white spots and 2 oscars seemed to have entiritis. I now have the oscars for 2 weeks...

My temp is actually at 27c,i'll be raising it to 28c today..

Yesterday i added the white spots and enteritis medicine alternately...today the white spots seems gone(maybe at second phase). The two that seemed to suffer from enteritis has started to move(moving up and down for about 1min and then drops at the bottom)but they still doesn't eat,they seem very weak,i'll try to get some vitamins today.

I'd try to buy the water testing kit today

Most members will tell you to raise the temp to 30c and this would be correct if you didn't have medication in the water. its not a good idea to to have your temp above 28c with meds.

have the fish been eating before medication?? you could try earth worms or blood worms but a lot of fish will go off food with medication. once medication has done its job and your waters clear of meds the fish should start to feed again.

White spot and white poo are two different things. You need to have a correct Dx before trying to treat with any medication. Wrong meds can kill just as effectively as a disease.


Water test results are required regardless of your waterchange schedule.

One of the oscar died today...I didn't sleep to watch after it,that sucks

3 healthy oscar remaining,1still sick but which hav started moving normally(its skinny though coz it didn't eat fro 3 days)

I am sorry to hear of your loss Rony, I truly hate losing a animal. If you want to prevent the others from dying we will need your water testings.

(Some pet stores can test your water for you!)
