hey and welcome.
Is it possible for you to post a picture of the fish?
You could use photobucket and copy/paste the [IMG] code.
That wouldt help a lot.
I'm at a loss here, but i'm sure the other MODs will chime in soon.

ps i moved your thread to the Emergency section.

btw how big is your tank and how long has it been running?
Did you test your water by any chance?

its going to be very hard to get a quality pic of a small worm but do your best. can you try to identify what you see. is it moving? are you certain its a worm and not just a scrap of flesh? this link may help if you are certain its a worm. possible anchor worm or leach???

there are a few ways your fish can have any of these infections. most likely are you buy them with it. shops are notorious for poorly kept fish. but not all stores i may add. poor water quality, purchasing plants without quarantining them, feeder fish. healthy fish will fight off any pests in the water, if you have poor water quality and the fish become weak its open to infection.stress is another through bulling or temp dropping etc. you will notice a lot of the people with sick fish are new to the hobby, have just had the fish a few weeks, or suffer poor water. there are a few occasions though that fish get sick for no apparent reason just like us.

istrober i forgot to ask has the fish been rubbing itself to remove the worm looking thing?

without knowing what to treat the fish for I would say your better off not to just try your luck. if you use the wrong med you end up delaying the use of the right med as meds don't mix well. a good vet is worth while but very costly.

Well, the one on his mouth it los like kind of a fungus, i just figure last night he has very small holes on top of the head, i read about that and its not good at all, i just bought some parasite medicine at petco, i dont remember the name right now but they told me is good, but what i dont know is how many times i have to put that medicine in because it only says on the instruccions to use it for a month
