Central air system build

All the research i did said to use 1-1.5" pvc, i choose to use 3/4" pvc because my system will only be running 16 outlets, the air pump I'm running is small, and space is at a premium

First i cut all the pvc to size and dry fit everything to make sure it fit, i also roughly marked all the valve positions when i did the dry fit. I disassembled everything and moved it all upstairs on a carpeted floor so its easier to drill the pvc and i marked my holes

Next i drilled and tapped all the holes, its important to keep the tap as straight as possible keeping firm downward pressure otherwise the threads will be tapped at an angle which means the valve will screw in crooked

then i screwed in all the valves, every other build said don't use Teflon tape cause it can come loose and clog the valves. The valves are slightly tappered so i assume they self seal

Here they are all done

Lastly i had to drill a hole and super glue the nylon barb fitting in for the hose from the pump

The actual room is done!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Video of the installed air system, I built the system using 45° elbows instead of 90° so its easier on the pump, the manifold is attached to the stands using rubber padded mounts to lessen the vibration.

Ya i saw the light at the end of the tunnel yesterday and i went for it and man i paying for it today my shoulder is killing me :(

Come on down take a look! I love it i keep going in and just staring at it i can't wait to get the tanks in. That pump is LOUD but once hooked up and screwed down it is almost silent, i think the rubber mounts help alot

After sniffing paint fumes for a while you may not mind the cleaning so much...
