Thanks popss lol.
In case your not familiar with my pond it is about 500 gallons.

Stock

11goldfish 3-4 inches
5 butterfly koi 7 inches
1 standard koi 12 inches

Filtration

1 500 gph pump with sponge filter
1 1200 gph pump with a 1200 gph canister filter with bio balls and two sponge fiters
and one 1000 gph waterfall fiter with a sponge filter and lava rocks

My only problem is every time I put my hand in the pond it gets wet lol.

Very nice Rich.. no ponds of course where I live, but just curious... does heavy rainfall affect your water quality, and do you worry about birds/critters looking for a fish snack?

I may not be the Boss, but I'm ALWAYS right!

Thanks suprd71

My subdivision doesn't really have any critters but I do keep a close eye out for them

And the rain helps with evaporation so no real problems there

the birds where a real concern for mine on old property, had large naturally fed pond and stocked it every other year with 75 to 100 7 to 8" spotted IE German trout and the birds would, IE blue hearing tear em up, then river otters showed up and I stopped. Just kept 2 large mouth bass and masses of bluegills after that.
