Wow j suprised..... i dont wanna contradict anything dave says as hes one of the members i respect most but i can totally relate. I went through the same thing with capone and to a lesser extent with dory/dusty. I dont regret rehomeing capone or making the decision not to rehome dory.

What would you do with the tank if you did ?

I don't know. Green Phantom, maybe an Acara or something. I really want the L200, and I'm frustrated at this point. So I need to start making some serious decisions about that. I can't afford and/or have the room to upgrade and to be honest I like my 75. So I just need to figure it out I guess.

You def have to think about it. I would love to have as many tanks as dave or robham but 2 is my max. Even with three tanks it just wasnt enjoyable. I have no prob rehoming fish to make things work. Comm set ups are dificult in that aspect of compatibility sometimes you just have to tinker a bit but are well worth the effort. The deciding factor for me with capone was my son and my son and i both wanted to experience other fish. I didnt want the tank to end up with just capone. So many great species cant own them all though. You have to think about it because i dont want ya to regret anything.

Lets say you were able to get the second tank what would you put in it ?

Another thought would be to find a common pleco thats roughly the size the gp would be and see how mr. M reacts....if all good well then good jist rehome the common. If not then you know

Do you remember that largest gp we were able to find ?

Blank 75 to work with?

All black sand, L200, and a pair of JD'S.

Adverse to this would be to just move my Africans into the 75.

It really depend of the source, if its an fish from an breeder they are mostly save but for wild caught, i would qt about 3 weeks and treat against ecto parasites and flaggelants.

55, and I have to do constant water changes because they shoot my nitrates sky high within days. Yea, it's probably about 5 fish over stocked. But I'm too lazy to catch them and decide which ones to keep. If I broke the 55 down I could make those decisions before putting them into the 75
