Hi everyone i used a natural medicine to help my blood parrot not get infected its called mela fix and it didnt have too much of a distcription other than dosing information. And i didnt see anything about invertibrits and idk if its harmful to them if it is i can put the snails in my sisters betta tank for now, i didnt think about it before i put it in either so i should of reacherched. Because its a more natural medicine i hope that means it dosent have any drawbacks to it.

It gave me this instruction that are really clear for me:

Remove activated carbon from filter, if possible. Add 1 tsp for every 10 gallons of water. Repeat daily for 7 days followed by a 25% water change. Treatment can be continued if necessary

it aso revealed that melafix is used as an Antibacterial Remedy to Rapidly Repairs Damaged Fins,Heals Open Wounds and Ulcers, Stops Mouth Fungus and Treats Fin and Tail Rot.



I also think its not necessary to medicate your fish if it isnt actually sick. It might become immune and have no response to the meds if it really needs some meds.

okay i actually peeled the tape back on the bottle and found the extras it said its okay for saltwater invertibrites, so i assume that means my snails and plants are good.

I just find it funny that as I discover more posts by this person, I see he is making more people upset on here. "I'm a fast typer" is not an excuse for not using Google, as you have to type to use Google. People do not take too kindly to someone who is too lazy to try to figure things out on their own first, so they always run to someone else for all the answers.
