Bit hard to see..but is that zero nitrite and ammonia and just a smidge of nitrate?
If so, and you just did a water change, I would not be worried..nitrates could be a bit higher but may be diluted because of the w/c.

Have a look at www.oscarfishlover.com/helpful-articles/testing-your-water as well as www.oscarfishlover.com/helpful-articles/cycling-an-aquarium

The journey is ammonia...nitrite...nitrate....

Is this what you wanted to know? What are those actual readings?

Yeah its a bit hard to tell from the pics but it looks ok from what i can see.

You are after 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrites and Low Nitrates.

NO3 reading 5 ppm. The tank is well established... been up and running 3 years, i have a Aquaclear canaster 1200lph, 2 x in tank powerhead filter and 2 large oscars inside, the tank is 75inch x 20inch x 20inch.

One of the O's has popeye i think due to fighting/stress between them just trying to ruleout my water.

Are those measurements correct?
Large Oscars could easily be 20 cm long, how big are they?

Edit: LOL i see its inches now, i just held up a 20 cm tape and thought `Umm there`s the problem`

According to the tank size calculator, that is 108 UK gallons which is just about right for two Oscars.

Readings are good for an established tank, the low nitrates, as I said, you just did a w/c. I usually have low nitrates because of my w/c schedule.

A 1200 lph cannister is OK if it is running at capacity, but then you said you had some internals as well so all should be well.

Do some research on pop eye - poor water is only one cause, it can also be a bacterial infection or vitamin deficiency.

Good Luck
