Keep doing large water changes, and if you have any prime, add some of that.

Beware, you may get cloudy water if the ammonia doesn't decrease soon.

Cheers,
Art

you have to test your tap water too, it may be the source.

ohhh! vicious fishes you have there... but why heat? RO water is always ready and safe to use....
watch out for your filter system. allow it to develop slimmy things to effectively colonized with good bacteria.

what is the prime you are talking about? my ammonia is really high too. i did a 20% change yesterday. How often can i change my water without getting the fish to stressed out?

sorry it took so long to answer. been busy.It removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia from tap water, and detoxifies nitrite and nitrate. It also promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coat of fish. something else i use is the ammonia removing pellets for the cartridge filter. as for how often?? depends on the filtration system. i do 25%-50% change every week to two weeks. you dont want to do them too often because you want the water to have the good bacteria. but the fish will get used to it. took a while for my new baby, but just try not to bother them. eventually my bigger o started coming up to my hands to get a rum. hahaha strange fish.

googled it. haha thats a spelling mistake?? but the only difference i saw was that the start right takes out heavy metals as well. i use reverse osmosis water so prime is good for me.
