Should i test for high rang ph ? and nitrate? iv had my 10-30i filter runnin 8 weeks or so and 30-60i for 4 maybe , ALSO ill be posting my tanks RESULTS for pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and doin 50-75% w/c anyway its been 2-3 days since last 75% w/c

Test everything and post pics of results if you want interpretation. If you test low range pH and it's as high as the chart will go then test with high range pH to see what it says.

Go do a water change - the solution to pollution is dilution.

I wrote down the directions in retard form for me so its easier to learn ^^ haha and here are the results o:! (pH:6.0-6.4 , Ammonia:0-0.25 ppm , Nitrite:0 ppm , Nitrate: 10-20 ppm

ive read the directs on tests very well and went step by step and did things right should i retest anything for sure? and does this mean my filter or filters are bacteria'd up

6 years ago, i also bought 1 set of test kit.... and my eagerness to learn keep me busy testing the water...
i also make a note like what you are doing and always observed the fish. test was done on a gradual
sequence: first day; then on the 3rd day; 5th day...and do water change whenever needed...
before i consumed the entire test kit, i was able to established the basis for the timely water change...
fish breathing method observation..... and i never did bought another set of test kit until now...

Your tests look good, ph is fine. A lower ph gives a little leeway for slight showings of ammonia and nitrite. Keep up at least 2x weekly w/c, and get another filter for your next purchase.
