Also have done 50% water change will do another 50% when I get home tonight

this may come as a surprise.... but you really dont need to clean your filters frequently as well..... or replace media (unless its falling apart)

beneficial bacteria lives in your filter and thats what makes the water unsuitable for fish. unless water flow is reduced or there is excessive "gunk" then you dont need to clean your filters.

Have done 3 x 50% water changes nitrate down to 20 water looks a lot better thanks for help
