How long has the tank been set up? Is it fully cycled? What is your water change routine?

Might help to have that bit of information also.

Please post how long you've had the tank and how often you change the water.

That alkalinity number is not all that low. Mine is actually a litte lower and is ok for oscars.

You would be better to do a larger, 75% w/c every 5 days or so. More toxins are removed than with more often smaller changes. As fish grow, you will need probably more. You will also eventually, and not far off, be overstocked.

No, not for oscars. Some people believe in salt as a cure-all, but the more experienced people will tell you that it is not necessary and can be harmful longer term.

I would suggest that the reason that your TDS is rising so much (more than 200 points) is from infrequent water changes, though it is really high, in any case. See this survey on a Reef tank forum asking about TDS in tap water. According to the numbers there yours are off the charts. My TDS sit at around 350 out of the tap and get down to about 250 with blackwater treatment, though that is still pretty high as far as I am concerned.

Not sure how healthy that is for you or your fish. How do you test for TDS?
