Never heard of it. But is this one of the products that say they establish the bio filter?

does it say so on the bottle?

Bio-spira works by establishing a bacterial colony which then works to remove ammonia and nitrIte. Prime and other water conditioners (like what you have) work to prepare the tank for fish, by removing chloramine and heavy metals, and some (namely prime) also remove the ammonia bond, but that does NOT mean you can substitute it for water changes.

if the label says it help establish bio filter, then it help
control the ammonia since biofilter is the processing the
breakdown of ammonia in the tank.

sorry, i haven't use any thing like that.

I allways use Sera- dechlor first and when starting up a filter i add separate bacteria afterwards.
If the chlorine is still in the water it will kill your bacteria.
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
