I was wondering so many people add fish, or additives to cycle the tank but is there any reason why we can't just pee in it our self someone willing to try it out for science I reckon 1 pee every 3days will do the job just don't site the tank in a window.

omg that is so old school. I personally have seen it done like 20 years ago with my old man doing it but not like ever since then lol. But my buddy has said he has done with one of his tanks when he started it up when i said that is one way to do it but he used a plastic cup and poured it in but ya it works.

I've never met anyone who has used urine to cycle a tank but since urine mostly sterile and pure ammonia, I don't see why it couldn't work. Having said that, if you happen to have a urinary tract infection then that may cause complications. But to be honest, I have no idea because I've never done it and I don't know anyone who has

some one has got to try this it might speed up the procces if i had a spare tank id try it a speedy cycling proccess would be great for my impulse buys!!LOL

hey OFL... it means we are just a normal kid then... the bad side
abd the good side plays around us..... it is just good we grew up
