my os must be as happy as i am, all the water changes have paid off the last 1 which paul said to do was a 70% change the tank looked empty but 0%amonia 0% nitrite 7.6 ph and 5% nitrate, this all coincides with the 40 days the tank has been running so i guess the bio is working in the filters now ,and pleco keeps a very tidy tank ,the only concern i have is where is all the fish waste (pooh) gone the other red os used to do dumpers like mini elephants and you could see what had to be cleaned up but these tiger os you dont see anything and its no different with the pleco ,and we feed them the same as the other os , frozen shrimp, pellets ,earth worms , fresh prawns their favourite, live shrimp tried them with macheral not so keen so where is the pooh too

congratulation.... but be reminded... you don't have to clean your
filter yet..... if ever you decide to do so, use tank water in a
bucket to keep the good bacteria alive and make sure you do it
the shortest possible time.....

one indicator is when flow rate had been reduced.....
that is why it is recommended to run two filter so that you can
clean one at a time making sure you are covered with good bacteria
in the event something went wrong after cleaning with the first one.
