Nothing serious, just need some opinions..
What do you think is better, 10%WC everyday from sunday to monday and 30%WC on saturdays OR
20%WC on wednesdays & 70%WC on saturdays?

I see absolutely no reason for a water change every day when you are keeping the fish that we talk about on this website. If you sensibly stocked with the correct size aquarium and filtration then you shouldn't really have to do more than one adequate water change once a week, probably no more than 50%. If you are finding that your nitrate is so high that numerous water changes are necessary then you are not doing something correctly.

Really hate to go there because I know what you're gonna say..
Ok, tank's 50gal and got two Os a 6' and a 7'. (I know the tank's small for them.) That's actually my problem now.. Thinking of rehoming one or upgrading my tank.. Anyway, filter's a HOB for a 50gal and a Overhead from my 10gal..

how big is the tank? I can see your not running enough for filters... So if you keep it like it is you will be running into serious water problems.
I would say do 2 or 3 water changes a week of about 30%.

Forgot to say how small is the tank, sorry. Edited my last post.
Can't really go for an upgrade right now and add more filtration so I wanna put more elbow grease to hopefully keep them both until the upgrade. Really don't wanna resort to rehoming one cause I love them both.

Will that be enough? I can really do water changes everyday time-wise.

I would say that should cover you, but keep a VERY close eye on your water perameters.
and you know, Ammonia should be 0. Nitrite should be 0. and nitrate no more than 40ppm. If you can't keep thse for more than a couple days then you will have to look at rehoming.

Ok, I will do 3 WC a week starting tomorrow. But if I can't keep up with those stats, can't I just do more water changes? Is too frequent water changes be bad for them?

You can do more frequent water changes, but then you run the risk of killing off your beneficial bacteria. and that would remove your cycle. So I would use your water test kit, and let that tell you when you need a water change.

Can anyone help? I have a 300ltr tank with 2 eternal filters(1 eheim professsionel 206/2029 and 1 eheim ecco 2234) my fish are 1 oscar, 2 severums and 2 plecs. The tank has been set up now for 12 weeks and I do a 80ltr water change once a week using half RO water and half tap water with AquaSafe to treat the tap water.I always check the water prior to the water change with the following readings, Nitrate 10, Nitrite 0, Ammonia 0, P.H 7. 24hrs after the water change all the fish bar the plec's are at the surface as if they are gasping for air. Then 24hrs later they seem to be O.K I have also checked for Nitrate, nitrite etc when the fish are at the surface and all are O.K
I'am at a loss as to what the problem is.
