Hi Kazzy, those readings are fine, in fact the nitrates are very very good. those are the very same readings I'm getting at the moment. I still do a water change but to be honest you could leave it if you wanted. the reason I still do a water change is cos i want to keep the nitrates low and don't want them to creep back up. what are your tap nitrates ? must be very low or do you filter you water first?

x2, very nice results, indeed.
Nitrates of 10 will be surpassed within days in my tank.
Nitrates of 10 are very nice and will keep your fish healthy.
Keep it up!

with that perfect data, you can now chart how many days before you need water
change by monitoring the water daily... make a chart on how many days before
the nitrate increase up to 40ppm.... based on that, you will have an idea on
what frequency to change the water....

i had done that and now, i do not test my water that much.... just do water
change every 10 days at 50% and clean the filter one at a time every other
week.....
