First attempt....Let's hope it works. The photo's of Amber came out pretty good since she stayed at the from of the tank and let me take as many as I wanted. Crystal kept moving away and wouldn't stay still, so her's are a little blurry.

Not too bad, certainly better than a lot of attempts I have seen at taking photos of fish

Hello! Nice oscars!

I especially like the pinkish-orange colored one. It looks similar to the two I have. Mine are 4 inches big and the darker orange pattern is becoming more prominant lately. I started shopping for a bigger tank this weekend. They will need it soon. I love my "babies"!! Best wishes. -charley

Yeah...hopefully I get better so you can see all the colors. Amber's head is actually a mix of green and black and her ventral fins have some light bluish tints mixed with the black.......very cool. Crystal's colors are pretty much what's on the photo's just slightly brighter. Can't wait till she gets a little bigger.

Thanks for the compliment. Like I said, she has attitude :angry: but she's pretty. (Very similar colors to yours) I need to get better with the photo's. She has really nice greens and slight blue in some spots.

As soon as I get Crystal moved I'll experiment with more photo's. Couldn't move her yesterday. We had severe thunderstorms, wind and lightning most of the afternoon. Power went on and off a few times. Not good for moivng fish. Looks good for tomorrow or Wed. depending on my work schedule.

the blueish/purpleish colour has turned into an olive green colour over time, but i like the new colour as well.
My oscar is a "bronze" oscar and i'm pleased with this special shade of red he has.

Nice fish but what if one or both of them turn out to be male? You'd have to rename them.

Sorry, been busy a few days.

Noddy, I got Crystal moved on Tuesday. Doing well. I have slight nitrite reading (.25) after moving the filter media, (no ammonia)so it should be good in a day or so.

They are gonna have to live with their names if they're males.
