very nice!
I'm still waiting for your plants to form some algae, but they stay sqeeucky clean!
As does your tank,it looks spotless.
btw did you know your heaters will disperse their heat more effective, when they're placed diagonal?
The plants stay nice and clean cus of the Blue phantom pleco noddy LOL
explain how that works with the heater mate? sounds interesting
Tank stays clean and spotless because I do two water changes a week...I know this is alot considering the size of the fish but I cant stand tons of crap sat on the sand.
I end up changing about 40% of my water a week without realising it lol

well, take the heater of the glass, and place it back in an angle of 45o or more.
Your's is placed vertically, but if it's placed more diagonal/horizontal, it will heat more water when it turns on, for the heated water will go upwards.
That way the heater will not need to turn itself on as often...
I have mine placed at a 40o angle.
There's really nothing more to explain, it's just some physics!
I never thought about it,and i liked the "straight" look of all the equipment, until someone pointed that out to me and it made sense.

I see what your saying noddy mate and it makes sense.
The heater im using is a temporary one and is only 150w its on loan from my father It does the job as we are still in summer at the moment.
I will be replacing it with another Rena smart heater before the winter but 300w this time and I think I will place it at an angle like you said

not much pointers here, only to be sure to use a tripod, to minimize handmovement.
Some of my better quality vids are made, by setting up the camera further from the tank, and using the manual zoom function.
I used that technique on this video:
the video quality seems more "crisp" that way.
mind you i use a over 10 years old DV camera and could do with some fancy DV camera.
That would change things for the better.
What kinda camera do you use?
Oh, and i see that a friend of my wife "forgot" her DSLR camera and it's next to me on the table.
Guess I'll be taking some new pics this week.

I use a digital Kodak 12MP point and shoot with HD function ...but it dont seem to give me great vids however much I play with the settings...

Great video!!! SOOOOO funny, I almost put that exact song on my feeder video! Your video was awesome... what was wrong with it??
Interesting about the heater. I never thought of that. It makes sense. Not that I need the heater yet since it is still 100 degrees here in Florida!
Thanks brooksie the vid is Ok...but it could be alot better
Your feeder vid was very cool
Maybe I need to invest in a POD like noddy says
