Great photos Paul, thanks for sharing. I will put them in the photo gallery actually, I'm sure you're okay with that?

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

thanks Brandon.... but i want to get your thought about some of my fish.... you have shown your fish and
claimed to be a true albino.... how would you rate my fish. can it be considered as ALBINO?
(no pun intended, just for a friendly exchange of opinion and ideas)

this argument had been discussed in several occasion, we just want to get new opinion from different place.

The first one is in fact lutino. The black trim around the fins says so lol. Also the second pic I can see some red in the trim of the dorsal fin which means its lutino but closer to the the melanastic side. Melanastic oscars are damn close to true albinos but they are still lutinos.

This is my old oscar that passed away. But see how his fins are red. He almost passed as a true albino till the red started coming in on his fins

thanks for the input Brandon.... here in my place, all light color oscars are being called ALBINO...
then later on, people are discussing that fish generally called also have different opinion about it.
when the fish has black or red edges on the fins and black eyes, it is lutino while the absence of
color edges and red eyes is albino.
