I know most people post pics to show off how pretty there Oscar are and thats all well and good, i know i love it when people comment on pics of my O!

But i just wanted to do something a little different with this thread and post some pics of what Oscars can do to each other when they fight. I'm sure there are probaly worse case's then this. Alot of you prob already know i used to have 2 tigers but had to rehome one when fighting stated at around 10 months, right when puberty kicks in. They were best friends till the day before the fighting started, i sperated the tank and made several attempts of re-introducing the fish but they kept fighting, in the end they would do what ever they could to get through the divider to fight each other, pretty sure they were both males fighting for dominance.

They do not care about their looks once they fight, eh?
Mine never fights but scars and bruises himself anyway...

we usually say that most male oscars will fight to death...
but there are time females do fight the same.... only less
chances than all males....

I have found that my dominant oscar will only fight with the other when they are hungry. When i keep them well fed there are no issues of this.
