Wow... I can't believe it but my Pleco is still alive after a whole month (plus one day). After 3 tragic deaths... number 4 has survived and stands up for his rights in the tank.

Noddy, your support and advice has been instrumental in helping this guy stay alive.

Red and Piglet have settled in with their new tank mate and everyone knows that they could each put a hurting on the other.. there really is no "master of the tank" at this point.

Sorry about the spots on the glass, they get a little fiesty when it comes to feeding time. Forgot to clean it after!

The Pleco.. he still doesn't have a name.


The whole tank... poop fest last couple of days due to the fact they had feeders.

To be honest I don't know. LFS just said he was a common pleco but I know there are specific kinds of common plecos - I'm just not smart enough to figure out which he is.

Very pleased to hear it worked out fine.
I'm allways enjoying my pleco observation time and thats quite a lot of time.
And am amazed at the difference in growth speed between the common plecos and the fancy ones.I got a L200 Yellow Phantom for a long time and it took over 2 years only to reach 2 inches! So reaching his adult size of 10" may take 15 years or so.
But I'll do my best to help him reach this size!
And that will help get some descent pics too, for he's so hard to photograph now!
