yep the photo appeared ))) you cant never really tell what color they will end up, but yours does tend to look more bronze than red. I personally like the color, it looks natural. and I have had one similar myself a few yrs back.

mine are very red - and I learned on this board there are ingredients in the food you can look for that enhance color. In this thread (about page 4 or so) explains it. I would attribute my O's 'redness' to their genetics as well as their diet.
My red has been labeled "Bronze" and no matter how much Hikari colour enhanced i give to him, he stays bronze-orange coloured...
It's it's natural appearance, and as you can see it's a totally different red colour as on my tiger.
just feed a varied diet and their best colour will come out eventualy!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. He's just attitude plus as you'll see from the video if it appears - Can you tell I'm new at this technology lol
Once again guys thank you very much for all your nice comments about Felix. I know he would just love you all.
I wasn't complaining about his colour, just wondered if the hikari gold would make him more red or just enhance the golden colour he already is. I like his colour too. He can go a beautiful dark bronze to a nice copper colour. He also gets along most of the time with everyone else in his little world - except for me. I think he hates me at the moment. We just moved house. You'll notice a small mark on 1 of his sides which is more than likely from the crayfish but he will torment her. That mark will go away in about a week. But, he shares his world with 2 clown loaches, a pleco, 3 silver dollars and the crayfish. when they all get bigger, I'll be moving things around into other tanks. Hopefully a better video this time where you won't have to turn your monitor sideways.
