Back in 1992 when I first got a computer, I also bought a dot matrix printer. I remember that it could take two types of paper, A4, or serrated sheets that you would tear off, the type that have the holes on the side. I used to have some labels that also came in these long serrated sheets. Do they still sell dot matrix printers that have this facility?
lol yeah I remember those. In college I had a 'Portable!' word processor about the size of a microwave that had a built in dot matrix printer.
Well...yeah 'portable' if you actually
like carrying around a microwave...(nowadays I figured out that
must have been the reason I missed so many classes.)
You can still buy them and use them. Hell, alot of state agencies and car dealerships still use them when they have to print out forms and receipts and such.
