Any members using McAfee antivirus software?

no, i am in between virus software at the moment, lol. i am looking for a free program, spent all my moeny on oscar tanks. haha

i used to use mcaffee but swiched to avast antivirus about 2 years ago and find it quite reliable progam.

The reason I asked about McAffee is because I have it installed on my laptop and I fired it up today and it threw up a warning when I went to my personal website, tetraplegic living.com. Not getting warnings on any other website or using my other virus software. Tony T said he wasn't getting any problems on his version, so maybe it's just the version I am using

ALL FREE to download and they work great! I run all of them once a week and have been virus free. (Figure I'll use him a little longer since he still feels guilty about the whole thing as he should!) It might seem a little overkill but I surf a lot and some sites I go to can be scary ! Plus they all find different stuff.

they install whatever is working great with them..my son who is also a
computer geek installed kaspersky lately.... everything works fine and
i have not encountered any issue yet

i used mcafee for a while... found for my tastes as a gamer it was using up too much of my system resources, so i switched to AVG, ran that for a few years, and after i kept getting virus's i couldnt get rid of which would result in a reformat, i just switched to avast a few days ago.

yep, i'm using it, havn't had any probs though.

i have used it with no problems. i currently have a virgin media connection but will be ending it in Jan. i have a free software package with them at the mo so will be looking for something again after the holidays. i found Norton 360 very good but slows things up. mcafee ok. bullguard ok. i also found that different software found different things. one would say nothing found while another found warnings. this left me wondering too? so i will keep an eye on this post.
