Hey, calling all computer geeks. New computers now come with PCIe, so I'm led to believe. You can get some of those PCI card that fit onto a new computer so you can still use the old serial equipment/adapters, anybody done this?

from what i know most new comp come with both pci and pcie slots.
the pcie slot is generally reserved for video cards and it can transfer the data faster than the old agp setups. other than vid cards i have no idea what else they can be used for.....

Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

Just a quick update. It turns out was I do not need a PCI card on my new computer. Anyway, the PCI cards that you can still buy are not compatible with Windows 7
