the brown one is female and she lays eggs and then backs up and takes them in her mouth then circles around the male when he shakes he is releasing to fertilize the eggs. That's why male Africans have egg spots, give the female a place to aim for when spawing. If you look closely I would bet the female has a mouth full of eggs and it looks like she is chewing them

sick! so should i put a bit of slate tile in the tank :D what should i do when she spits the eggs out. there is 6 of them in the tank do i remove all the fish or just let it run its course?

She will incubate the eggs in her mouth till they hatch, if you want to keep the fry you need to put the mom in another tank till they hatch and then strip her of the fry if you don't really care just leave her in the tank and she will release them and see if any survive
