i'm planning of putting 4 in a 20 gallon and 2 in 10 gallon

I think you need to do a little bit more research on fish before you even think about getting any more. All the fish you listed are Africans not SA/CA also both the tanks you listed are to small to keep the species you listed.

with Africans, that these fish are, you can't work on gallonage. You have to work on foot horizontal lenght of your aquarium - one male and four (or more, for some of your agressive species) per foot length, and then you leave one foot spare for them to run away into.

But the SMALLEST aquarium you can keep these fish in with any hope of not just having one fish that killed all its tankmates is 55 gallons. If you do get the 55 gallons, look at three groups of smaller fish - which pretty much any of yours would qualify for.

Seriously, I'm not kidding. These guys beat each other to death if not kept right. They don't eat each other, they just rip each other apart. Don't do it. It's not pretty.

If you want, I can help you - I keep Africans like the ones you listed here, and I know their ins and outs. But for pity's sake, don't do what you described here.

They WILL kill each other.

Why not a nice group of tetras for the 20, and a betta for the 10?
