Its probably the eggs that she's juggling around. How long does this go on until they hatch? How long will she go without eating?

So about 28 days, plus or minus a week.

Sorry, I have sort term memory... :woohoo: Thanks for the info, its very helpful. Is it best for them to hatch in her mouth?

I think so. But if you want to, you can strip them and raise them in a tumbler. Since she's managed this before, though, with success, I think just let it be.

I've been out of town for a few days and noticed she isn't holding anything anymore and is back to eating. I don't see any fry. could it be she put the eggs somewhere to finish up? The fake rocks have inner holes so they can get inside. Thats where I see her go all the time. Seems to be a safe haven.

no, she won't put them down. But she may well have eaten her eggs (typical in stressful tanks - like yours must be), or, if she's been holding for much longer than you've been aware, there may be fry.

Yeah, no sign of fry so I assume she ate them...

The 1 fry from the last round is still kicking. It's rather crazy but he likes to swims with the Jacks and O's who want to eat him but they can't catch him. Maybe thats why you don't want inbread fish? Lol! He's definately ballzy!
