i came across this footage and love the crowd.... can somebody help me
identify those fish...and how to keep them! i love the way they schooling!

well the species name is actually in the video title, and keeping them seems to be pretty easy even tho they are easily affected by bloat.

they are your standard tanganyika cichlids.

i tried to copy paste the name indicated tehrein, but the picture that popped-up
are different... so i am confused... i will try to find such specie if they are
available in my place.... MANILA! thanks for the link..

well it does say in the fish profile that the species has lots of subcoloring, so depending on what link you click you will probably get different looking fish :p

tbh they look just awesome in that vid, almost made me want to forget about discus and get these for my next tank, but then i got a look at a solid turqoise discus and my decision went back to those ;)

tanganyika cichlids gave good results...thanks
and they are almost similar to red zebra in characters!

They are tropheus, and when they are younger they are all black with white spots all over them. the color transformation they go through is amazing, getting to the all black with the yellow band as adults.
