Hi can anyone possibly help me please i have a good pair of breeding kribensis and today bought a pair of firemouths i have 2 good size tanks but i would prefer to put both pairs in the same tank along with seperate hides etc will they be ok after breeding or not advisable?

Hello and welcome to the site. What is your definition of good sized tanks? Its never recommended to keep Africans with South or Central American cichlids. Any breeding pairs of cichlid will be aggressive and territorial. I would expect the Firemouths would kill the Kribs, or at very least keep them pinned down in hides. At any rate, not a good idea imo.

my 2 tanks are both 36 inches long height 24 inch and depth 20 inch the kribs are breeding so well first batch they ate most leaving 3 then about a week later just over 50 and now laid another 100+ eggs and only had them 4 weeks lol thanks for advice il keep them in seperate tanks :)
