It's not stringy, it looks like normal poo only it's pure white. I'm assuming this isn't good? Suggestions?

Is the fishes belly bloated, or sunken? What are you feeding them? I kept a few different morphs of T. Duboisi's many moons ago....they need an almost exclusively algae based diet. Their diet should be high in vegetable matter. Offer dried seaweed or romaine lettuce on a feeding clip daily, and supplement their diet with a quality vegetable based flake or pellet food. Try Omega One kelp flakes.

They are also extremely intolerant of conspecifics....you have more than one in a tank?

How about a video or some pics? B)

Tried my best, yes, I have 2. One is fine the other not looking so hot. I feed veggie and algae flakes, plus life spectrum cichlid formula. He looks worse today thank yesterday that's for sure.

Omg I'm sorry, I keep hitting enter before I'm done. Having 2 is very recent, the one not looking hot was in my Mom's tank and she couldn't keep him anymore so I took him in instead of taking him to the LFS. He's only been with me a few days, he ate yesterday but not today.

I would isolate that sick one immediately.......add espom salt to the water, & soak some flake in ES/dist H2O mix. Probaly caused by stress from being picked on/close proximity to the other one. In order for multiples to be in the same tank, need a HUGE tank w/ ,ots of rockwork/caves.

I would also advise re-homing the sick one after he gets better. B)
