I have a raphael catfish and am planning on getting an electric blue crayfish. Will these be ok together or will the crayfish try to harm my catfish? I don't want anyone trying to eat each other here.

I have a crayfish with my green terrors and i also have a rafael catfish...if you don't have super good hiding spots for the catfish, the lobster will destroy it. My crayfish actually grabbed my catfish by the tail and was being dragged around the tank by the catfish. They are surprisingly aggressive, and mine has taken on my 7 inch green terror. Just make sure the crayfish has a good spot of his own, or else he will run around terrorizing everything in the tank, and well fed (i feed my crayfish chopped up salmon filet which i used to feed my oscars. They eat quite a lot once they reach a good size...mines already 5 inches after having him from 2 inches over 3 months.)

Good luck, and I really recommend a crayfish/lobster as they sometimes get called. They are really cool to watch, and active. If you get one about 3-4 inches, he shouldn't have a problem defending himself against your oscar.

I love cars/driving- I have a 2005 VW golf TDI- 40mpg in town, even while burning gassers =D (talk cars with me)

i think those blue crayfish are very cool. i have never had one.

i have seen them in YT videos where people have said they have worked out with Oscars and other large cichlids. ...... But i know my luck wouldn't work that way. i would have nothing but a blue shell left over .  :pinch:
