auburnaquarist created the topic: salinity for remoras

i dunno if anyone knows the answer to this but if you do, it would be helpful.
okay, we have 2 remoras and are not sure what the ideal salinity for them is. They are very hardy, tolerant fish, but they've kind of been acting odd lately and i can't seem to find the ideal salinity to keep the at anywhere online. is there anyone out there who keeps these things and might know the answer?

as far as I know they are straight up salt water fish. Everything I have read is that they should only be kept in very large aquariums that can house a "host" such as sharks or small whales, in the home aquarium they die slowly since their natural environment can't be replicated, again that is just what I have collected from reading a couple of sites I have no experience with them or salt water aquariums.

we keep two in a 130gal right now w/ a large filter, a protein skimmer, and a aerator. We have had them for almost two years and they seem okay now; i found out one of the other lab techs that i work with unplugged the aeroator(big no-no!) so that was what was wrong. thanks anyway.

Specific gravity of 1.025 is ideal for them

I have no idea why the water bill is so high
