i am really interested in getting a saltwater setup, im either going with my 55 gallon or possibly my 120 gallon..are there any sharks that stay small enough to be housed in a 120 gallon?, also whats the maitenance costs like for saltwater tanks once you get everything up and running. i would like to hear from people who have saltwater tanks, the pros and cons...

A cat shark for now, then upgrade to thousands of gallons of water! Use cat shark in 120 as a baby...

I don't care if your tank is 54.99 gallons. PUT IT IN A 55 GALLON TANK!

For each water change you need to look at -

- Marine salt - usually $80 a bucket
- RO water, either need to buy and transport it or get a unit yourself.

Maybe check out some specific forums like ultimatereef.com or saltybox.com both used by my marine pals and have good forums and helpful members.

Haku, I knew your were good.
