if your ph is low you can add sum rocks and if your ph is too high you can add driftwood or peat but its better to leave it alone if possible

Don't dwell on what went wrong. Instead focus on what to do next

What is your PH?

It is far better to have a stable PH than to go messing about trying to raise it or lower it.

Unless you PH is below 6 or above 7.5, I would not worry about it.

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.

like mentioned above driftwood or lava rock is good but I would leave it if it isnt to low or to high out of where it should be. I think mine is about 6.8 but if you keep changing it then you will stress your fish out more.

I'm living my life, but not necessarily in the right order :)
