The mysterious ways of the pleco... ;)

My L114 never feeds during the day and many times when I add algae wafers or sinking carnivore pellets at night they are still there in the morning. With the way my filter circulates water I do notice a high amount of the Oscar poo collects next the the pleco's hiding spot so I figure it must be going through the detritus and feeding.

A pooping pleco is an eating pleco, whether you see it or not. You may also try some Omega1 sinking kelp pellets, they drop fast and I see both my plecs comb the bottom for these tidbits.

Funny thing dave I just saw this !!!!!! I had just fed everyone else a few minutes later he started this I I guess hes eating the small food particles. I threw in some nls algaemax (after the vid) and it look like he either ate some or buried it in the gravel

Ps sorry about the backround entertainment lol

Thats what makes your videos fun to watch! ;)

That pleco is looking really good, nice to see it out. I wish my L114 would come out.... I might just remove its hiding spot and see what happens. My Rhino in my 210g is out all the time.

That's an awesome looking Pleco, Frank. He's definitely eating in that vid.
