bigtdotcom created the topic: Bad Eye damage PLEASE HELP

Yesteday i added a new a baby oscar baby oscar to my tank containing 1 synspilum(10-12cm), 1 ghost knife and 3 clown loaches. The synspilum is much bigger the all the other fish but has always been fine with my clowns and ghost knife so figured my oscar would be safe. Anyway just after i added the oscar he swam straight up to the syns and flared his gills at him and tried to attack him and the syns responding by biting him right on the eye ball. The oscar eye in in a bad way, kinda looks like it has come out of his socket a little bit, i originally thought his eye was completely ripped out but luckily it is still there. Just wondering what you guys think his chance of making a full recovery is? is there anything i can do to help him heal? i have put in a divider so the oscar can have his space and i am rehoming the synspilum new week. water parameters are all in check. ammo 0. nitrite 0. nitrate 10. Tank is 200 ltr which i know is to small in the long run but i will be getting my 6 foot out of storage in the next few months.
Photos will be added soon

welcomeback bigtdotcom...
it may lost the damage eyes if heavuly damage a healthy oscar could still survive with
only one eye... however, if the damage is not that much, there is still a chance it can
heal in time...

Good chance that will heal imo. Super clean water, get some vitamins into him. The Syn didnt bother the CL or the Knife because they are not cichlids and of no threat to it. CL need pristine water to begin with, so Oscar will benefit from CL friendly water.

Boyd's Vitachem or Seachem Nourish are liquid supplements. Saturate a normal meal in this twice a week. Freeze dried foods like krill absorb very well.
