how to feed my baby oscars

hi
this is the first time i have bought baby oscars and they seem to be hiding behind my filter
i understand that they are shy and not used to there new environment but how do i get food to them
i have cichlid gold medium sized floating pellets and live bloodworms
if you have any suggestions on how to feed them?? all suggestions welcome :)

(its kinda a noob problem :P)
btw i have owned adult oscars before :D

hey there, and welcome.
Just give your fish some time to adjust to the new territory.
Being netted and rehomed brings quite some stress to the lil'fish.
Just sit close to your tank, and talk to your fish.
Make him get used to your presence,and he'l stop being shy in no time.

It may take a while, but once he get's hungry, he'll come for the pellets.
just toss in 2 or 3 and remove if he hasn't eaten them in a couple of hours.
Bloodworms were a staplediet for my baby oscar, and the free-floating bloodworms, are very attactive to baby O's.
That may get him out of hiding.(:
My first Oscar ate bloodworms from my fingers within a few weeks! :P

i just dropped some behind the filter and they seemed to eat the ones that dropped directly on top of them :D

i was wondering what happens if some of the blood worms swim into the gravel
or under rocks what should i do about them??
