Anybody else feed these to their fish?
Mine love it. Especially the river shrimp and grasshoppers. Been picking up the odd can to keep in the fridge over the last couple years.

None of the stores have their freeze dried stuff around here, but I did see on their site that they do make it, and wondered about it as well.

Petsmart here carries them as a constant item and I've seen them at another store from time to time. Since your in canada and shipping would be easy without the border hassle, I'll send you a couple cans next time I pick some up if you want to try some and can't find any.

We have a new Petsmart opening (supposedly) in April. Should be some grand opening specials, I will check that out. Or maybe the dozen or so dif foods my fish currently get is good enough? They eat better than I do!

Yeah they'll probably have it. It's produced more for the reptile trade, which is where I found them, in the reptile section, but the cans state they are great for turtles and aquarium fish as well. And yeah I hear ya on the fish eating better than we do. My wife is always wondering where all the shrimp and frozen peas go. Summer time is the best for getting some great critters in the back yard for them. All my oscars have always gone crazy when it's grasshopper season.

I am going online right now & getting some of those grasshoppers....& not just for my fish.

Largemouth bass LOVE grasshoppers......& I know it's gonna snow/ice/$hit tonight, but bass season will be here before ya know it....& getting live grasshoppers is a tough proposition.

I knew they did crickets, etc but not grasshoppers. Thanks, J. B)

The grasshoppers I've always got in the can were a good size too. I do some bass fishing with my wife's father, he's a tournament fisher, I'm just casual out on the boat for the day kinda guy, but maybe I'll try that too. We usually use fake baits.
