Not good for either one of them....feed fish fillets, shrimp, dubia roaches, earthworms or frozen silversides (you get the idea...insects or other fish). Fish are not made to eat mammal meat, and those that may eat mammals/birds/reptiles in the wild do so because food is scarce, and not uncommon for them to not eat for a week or two.

If you decide to feed it (because you don't want to throw it out), no more than once a month and fast for 4 days afterwards.

Boyd's goes well with most fd foods Steve. I put a drop on pellets as well.

aggreed, terrestrial protein is not meant for fish.
The choises in good fishfood are quite a lot, so better stick to that.

Some breeders use it to promote fast growth & bulk on their fish......I'm not a fan of it, I've always used chopped earthworms for small fish, whole nightcrawlers for bigger fish.

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.

The fastest growth for fish would be earthworms (there was a study on it), with fish fillets coming in on second (due to less fat than worms). For piscivores, fish fillets produce less waste than even pellets.
