So I moved my oscar into a new tank and it's been two days of him not eating...water parameters are all good....is he just not used to the tank yet?

He's probably a little spooked from the move and will start eating as soon as he's hungry enough. 2 days not to worry.

no worries. as long as water parameters are good and stay good.

nitrate should be under 20
ammonia - zero
nitrite - zero

if your parameters are any different let us know as youd need to fix that asap

Several brands of quality pellets available. NLS, Omega1, Northfin, Hikari Gold or Bio-Gold. Good news he has settled in and took some feed. You MUST have some veg matter in his diet. If he wont eat natural veg, try some spirulina based pellets, or get some spirulina powder from any health food store and sprinkle some on his pellets couple times a week. Toss some earthworms or mealworms in the mix. Some fish and shrimp also good. I use tilapia from the groc store, about 5 bucks a pound, last you a long time.
