Wizzah created the topic: NLS Questions

Lets start with i have always fed my oscars hikari gold, but at nearly $20 a months its not cheap, i was looking at NLS large fish formulas 2kg bucket, been doing research and it seems that they're defiantly a good staple diet, now my questions are, is the 3mm pellets big enough for my 30cm oscars and do they sink immediately?

Cheers guys!

3mm pellets will be fine. The floating variation is softer than the sinking variety.

i sorta forgot to mention that the reason i want the 3mm is because they do sink, because i have a male red devil who doesnt eat floating pellets, so i wanted to kill 2 birds 1 stone, so the 2kg bucket would feed all my fish.

Those should be fine. You will not need any larger size pellets, as the 3mm size make it easy for them to swallow.

Maybe you should try a small bag first? Wouldnt want 5lbs of food that fish dont like! I mention this because the majority of my fish, SA/CA, various sizes and ages didnt care for it much. I have better response from Omega1.
