i had oscar tank at basement of the building and the area is well lighted... oscars are active most of the time wheter night or day... and also sleep whether night or day too..

My oscar's night and day habits r dependent on the hours of sunlight naturally.

yeah... i know what you mean... i am just citing the condition of how an oscar react on environment that is totally different from the day and night cycle...

although all my oscars in the community tank became active whenever i open the light at night...

Just wondering do you have a photo of your oscar sleeping? Also, the only time I can feed my catfish is early morning other than the night.

actually, i had posted in here a footage of my oscar motionless for a long time... yes, pectoral fins slowly move from time to time ... and i believe that is just to keep them in place... same with people who also moves while sleeping... i believe they are sleeping because one time i pick the oscar with a stick and the fish swim aimlessly hitting the wall...
